The public can easily view the clock and the movement of the hammers hitting the bells every quarter hour through the glass windows from the tower’s stairwell. However, to allow entrance into the Gallery and learn more about the functions of the clock, as well as view the exhibits and mural up close, the Gallery is open to the public on Wednesdays and Saturdays from 10:45 to 12:05. A docent will be present to explain the various features of the Gallery and answer questions. Also, an animated video of the mechanics of the clock can be viewed.
Photos are allowed. Masks optional but recommended.
Because of limited space, entry into the Bisno-Schall Clock Gallery is limited to a maximum of 15 people at a time.
To reserve a group Clock Room visit, email clock@sbcourthouse.org at least two weeks in advance of the desired date.
